In less than 3 weeks, Dubai Parks and Resorts ( DPR ) will finally open the gates to all of us…
The largest integrated entertainment complex in the region, will be opening in stages. The first ones to “kick-off the show” are Legoland Dubai & Riverland on the October 31st!
Travellerczech got his hands on a bunch of great insider photos from around the Riverland area. Enjoy this exclusive sneak peek at the finishing works and great theming. It all looks very promising.
Motiongate, Bollywood Park and Legoland Waterpark, together with Outlet Village and luxury Polynesian themed hotel Lapita, will become the world’s newest theme park destination. Six Flags thrill park is also in the pipeline, with planned opening in 2018!
- LAPITA HOTEL
The 500 rooms luxurious on-site resort will offer complimentary Q-Fast Pass to its guests and most importantly…4 world class parks within five minutes walk.
Resort will have 5 restaurants and bars, Spa, lagoon pools and extensive lush gardens all around.
The gateway to Legoland and three adjacent parks will be through Riverland…dining and shopping area meandering around a man-made river (think Universal CityWalk, or Disney Springs ).
Riverland is themed into 4 different zones :
- French Village – 16th century town inspired by village of Annecy
- Boardwalk – think Americas in 1950 and lots of neon
- India Gate – lively plaza with artistic sculptures and food carts
- Peninsula – 19th century architectural theme
All these zones will have plenty of exciting stores and F&B outlets such as Katsuya by Starck, Tom&Kitchen Deli, or licensed Irish Village…so you can enjoy refreshing pint of Guinness during those hot days.
- LEGOLAND Dubai
The first to be open park within DPR, including unique indoor MiniLand attraction and plenty family friendly rides.
- BOLLYWOOD Park
Park with attractions and rides based on Bollywood Blockbusters + 2000 seat Raj-Mahal Theatre.
Motiongate Theme Park includes Dreamworks, Smurf Village, Sony Pictures Studio, Lionsgate and Studio Central Zones. Rides and attractions based on a movies like Hunger Games, Kung-Fu Panda, or Shrek.
